JahRock’n Recording Studio strives to provide the best in recording quality, service, and expertise for every budget. Our cozy studio environment allows for flexible recording for pretty much all styles of music. We strive to create an environment that promotes creativity, while our staff makes sure your goals are met.

Studio Pricing Description

Our studio is booked by appointment slots. Using a standard $50/ hour rate we discount the studio every 2 hours after slot 1.  The more studio time you book the bigger the discount. 

Below is a description of each slot. Choose the desired slot from the pull-down menu above. These slots can be booked at any day we are open and available. If there is a prior studio session at the desired date, we will contact you to suggest another day. 

Slot A - 2 Hours = $104

Slot B - 4 Hours = $202.80

Slot C - 6 Hours = $301.60

Slot D - 8 Hours = $400.40

Vocal Production

Vocal Production is included in your sessions at a ($15/hour value). We include it in the session price of $50/hour. We will secure a vocal producer to accompany you in the recording session. The vocal producer's job is to help coach Rappers, Singers, and other vocalists. The vocal producer has the ability to understand a range of musical styles, and how they should be preformed. Studio Policies:

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a session for any reason, you can do so without penalty 48 hours before your original scheduled session time. Failure to attend your scheduled session will result in a forfeiture of your down payment.

Rescheduling Policy

To reschedule, contact JahRock’n Productions at least 48 hours before your scheduled session time. Your down payment will then be automatically applied to your rescheduled session.

Studio Rules

A. File Storage Policy

Backups and Storage

Daily back-up to the studio’s hard drives is free during each recording session.  Backing up to the artist’s storage media will be billed at the hourly studio rate.

Onsite hard drive storage is free for six months after the last recording session. After six months, $5.00 per song will be billed weekly. Non-payment for storage will result in permanent deletion of the files. Ongoing projects of 8 or more hours per month, are not subject to this provision.

B. Code of Conduct

All artists using studio space must behave in a manner that is respectful of the building and equipment, and is considerate of other users of the studio.

Noise outside the facility must be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM. If you have a car alarm, you are responsible for making sure that it does not disturb either a recording session in progress or the residents living in the area.

If an artist brings equipment into the studio, the artist is solely responsible for the working order of the equipment. The studio reserves the right to refuse to allow the use of such equipment if the studio believes it to be in unsafe condition.

Smoking is NOT ALLOWED anywhere within the building, including washrooms and stairwells. If you smoke outside the building, you must be at least 25 feet from doors and windows. Do not leave cigarette butts on the grounds.

Place trash in the receptacles provided, whether on the grounds and inside the building.

Alcohol and/or drug use is STRICTLY PROHIBITED anywhere on the property. Any such behavior by the artist or by the artist’s crew or guests will result in immediate termination of the contract and removal of the person(s) from the facility.

The artist is liable for any and all damage caused by negligence, recklessness, or misconduct of the artist or the artist’s crew or guests.

The artist is allowed to have up to 10 guests (people not actively involved in the recording session), but the artist is responsible for these guests. If a guest is disruptive to a session, s/he will be asked to leave.
